韩曦博士毕业于南京大学，在南京大学外文系获得学士学位，在中文系获得硕士和博士学位。她从南京大学毕业以后就一直从事对外汉语教学工作，现在北京大学对外汉语教育学院工作。她曾经担任新西兰教育部汉语顾问、澳大利亚维州教育部汉语顾问、泰国朱拉隆功大学孔子学院中方院长，现在是以色列希伯来大学孔子学院中方院长。
韩曦主要从事汉语国际推广和美国戏剧的研究，出版了《百老汇的行吟诗人——田纳西•威廉斯》《当代美国戏剧思潮与流派研究》等专著，并在核心刊物发表了多篇学术论文。
Dr. Han Xi graduated from Nanjing University, China. She got her Bachelor, Master and Doctor Degrees majoring in English Literature (BA), Comparative Literature and World Literature (MA and PhD). She has been teaching Chinese to international students for over 30 years. She worked as National Chinese Language Advisor with New Zealand Ministry of Education (2005-2011), Chinese Language Advisor with the Department of Education in Victoria, Australia (2014-2015), and Chinese Director of Confucius Institute at Chulalongkorn University (2015-2018). Now, she is Chinese Director of Confucius Institute at Hebrew University. Her research field covers the American drama and teaching Chinese to international students, etc.. She has published monographs, translation works and business Chinese textbooks, etc. in China.
