Dr. Han Xi graduated from Nanjing University, China. She got her Bachelor, Master and Doctor Degrees majoring in English Literature (BA), Comparative Literature and World Literature (MA and PhD). She has been teaching Chinese to international students for over 30 years. She worked as National Chinese Language Advisor with New Zealand Ministry of Education (2005-2011), Chinese Language Advisor with the Department of Education in Victoria, Australia (2014-2015), and Chinese Director of Confucius Institute at Chulalongkorn University (2015-2018). Now, she is Chinese Director of Confucius Institute at Hebrew University. Her research field covers the American drama and teaching Chinese to international students, etc.. She has published monographs, translation works and business Chinese textbooks, etc. in China.
