In December 2018, the 13th Confucius Institute Conference took place in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan province, China. Dr. Lihi Yariv Laor, the Director of Confucius Institute at the Hebrew University, Prof. Wang Shizhou, the Chinese Co-Director of Confucius Institute at the Hebrew University and Prof. Noam Shoval, Provost of Rothberg International School attended the conference and met with some Chinese colleagues and dignitaries including China's Vice Minister of Education and the President of Peking University.
